Theodore..God’s Gift To Us

A search in all places
The glare and the wilder
Open and concealed
Obvious, hidden

For a heart; pure and thorough
One that smiles peace
Beats desire
Discomforts in the others despair

A tiresome search
Roaming nature’s street
Crossing her oceans
On mountains high stood I in search

For beauty beyond my rods and cones
One that soothes a kindled temper
Remains even through the gauntlet
Dies to remain humble

In no hidden crevice thrived my search
But amidst the folks like man
Not isolate but unique
Classy yet ordinary

To be gifted
To be graced
To be favoured
Is to be appreciated

Theodore: nature’s perfect gift I searched.
